2020 Tata Tigor Facelift Detailed Review

Tata has Launched its next generation Facelift Tigor sedan in the Indian automobile market, with much better striking design. The Tigor First Generation was the one of the most liked model in India and created a strong identity for the coming generations. The second-generation Tata Tigor is known for having superior design elements and high structural strength.

The new generation Tata Tigor follows impact 2.0 design language which means that both the Tiago and Tigor are almost identical to each other. Most of the changes have been done on the rear end of the vehicle and rest of the design comes with only mild changes.

At the front end, company redesigned its grill which was placed between the headlights. Now the redesigned grill comes with a Y elements with chrome finish and at the center of the grille Tata Logo with chrome finish. The headlights comes with projector lights. Now the headlights are slightly angled towards the bumper to improve design and also improved an important element of design which is aerodynamic flow. The chrome insert that starts on either side of the headlights and helps to improve design element.

The air dam grill now comes with chrome insert lines on it and the DRLs are placed near the fog light. The fog lights comes with conventional light and chrome inserts around it. The bonnet has been redesigned so that the front end of the vehicle meets the upcoming pedestrian norms. Side profile of vehicle is same as the older generation. company now offer Two different size of wheels which are 14″- 15″ inches. Minor changes have been made to the rear end like on the bumper and tail lights to make vehicle even better.

Tata now offer only 1.2-liter 3 cylinder Bs6 petrol engine that produces Peak 84 Bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is mounted to 5-speed manual gearbox. Automatic is also available as an optional. The dimensions and capacity of the vehicle are 3993 mm Length, 1677 mm Width, 1532 mm Height, 2450 mm Wheelbase, Ground Clearance is 170 mm, Fuel Tank Capacity is 35 Litres and Boot-space of 419 litres.

When you get inside the vehicle, the first thing you are going to notice is better design. The cabin comes with soft touch elements around the vehicle and gives a slightly premium feel. On the driver side like any other newly launched Tata vehicle Tigor also comes with digital instrument cluster. The Instrument Cluster show all kind of information’s like Fuel Level , Average Speed, Distance to Empty, Time, Low Fuel Level Warning, Door Ajar Warning, Gear Shift Indicator and more.

The front and rear seats provide a decent amount of soft cushioning to each person. The front seats come with adjustable headrest. All four doors comes with a bottle holder space and infotainment speakers. The front seats comes with a bucket style which means they are more supportive as compared to rear seats.

The 7-inch touch screen Harman infotainment system comes with all kinds of features like USB, AUX, Bluetooth, Navigation, Apple Car-play and Android Auto. In the top end variants, it comes with engine stop / start push button and 6+ speaker surround sound system to give premium quality sound.

For the safety, New generation Tata Tigor comes with 2 Airbags, ABS, EBD, Rear Parking Sensors and Rear View Parking Camera.
