All New 2020 KTM Duke 200 BS6 Detailed Review

The Duke 200 is built on the view point that the rider can ride on it in different road conditions. It can deal with any kind of road condition without any problem and perform well. The bike is designed to reduce air flow drag and increase aerodynamic flow. From front to Rear end, the vehicle looks much better as compared to the older variant. The KTM Duke 200 BS6 looks like most of the parts are inspired from KTM Duke 1290R. It has almost identical design lines such as the LED DRL’s in the headlights, new sharp front headlight, new sharp plastic cover on the fuel tank and rear LED lights.

Now the new Duke 200 BS6 comes with a larger fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. This fuel tank is about to offer more range with full tank. The bike certainly looks bigger and more attractive than the old Duke 200. The older model was not that much eye catching as the new Duke 200. The split trellis frame is now taken from the 250 and 390. The split trail frame still comes with a powder coated paint that provide long life and helps the frame to remain rust-free in any kind of weather condition. The frame is designed to perform any kind of task like stunt, racing and off roading. The design of frame also helps to reduce weight. It also provide high strength and better stability while riding the motorcycle.

The front suspension comes with 43 mm WP suspensions and rear adjustable mono-shock suspension. Both offer a total of 142 mm of traveling, which is 2 mm more than the older suspension. The new seating height is 823 mm which is more then 818 mm of older generation. The ground clearance is 155 mm which is 20 mm lower as compared to older generation and weight is 11 Kg increased. At front 110/70 mm R17 tubeless tyre size with 300 mm disc brake size. At rear 150/ 60 R17 tubeless tyre size with 230 mm disc brake size. The digital instrument cluster displays all kind of information like engine RPM, Speed, Gear, fuel level, engine coolant temperature, Side stand warring, time and Trip.

The motorcycle is powered by 199cc liquid cooled engine with fuel injection system which produce peak power of 24.7 Bhp and 19.3 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
