2020 Skoda Karoq is Another Best Compact Suv For India

After showcasing several cars at the Indian Auto Expo 2020 looks like Volkswagen Group is going to put Skoda on the driver seat to operate the India automobile market. Skoda Karoq is going to be first mid-size SUV in India by the company. It is based on the MQB A0 platform. The Skoda Karoq may be a replacement for the Yeti. Karoq seems to be a smaller version of Skoda Kodiaq. Karoq is designed to compete against its global rivals. It is going to do the same in India and also going to compete with its rivals like Kia Seltos, Mahindra Xuv 500, Hyundai Creta and Volkswagen Tiguan.

The front end of the Karoq looks like Skoda Kodiaq replaced by some design elements such as front headlights, DRL’s are redesigned, Projector headlights and below the headlights on the bumper projector fog lights are placed. Between the headlights and fog lights headlight washer is placed. The setup of placing headlights and fog lights close to each other improve design elements of the vehicle. The Skoda signature grille with piano black and chrome finish around the grille provides a premium feel. On the bumper grey colored skid plate finish gives aggressive look to the vehicle. The rear end of the vehicle looks almost similar to the Kodiaq. From long distance both vehicles are going to look very similar to each other.

It is going to be powered by 1.5 Liter Turbo petrol engine which produce 150 Bhp and 240 Nm of torque . The company may also offer two different gearbox options which are 6 speed manual and 7 Speed DSG automatic gearbox. In abroad 1.5 Liter turbo petrol engine gives 19.2 Kmpl of mileage.

The interior of the vehicle is also looks nicely designed and offer Adequate amount of space at the front and back for adults. The dashboard and front doors comes with ambient light. Center rear AC vents provide a sense of luxury inside the vehicle. The 8 inch touch screen infotainment system is going to come with features like Android Auto, Apple Car play, Bluetooth, Navigation, USB, AUX, Radio and more.

Skoda Karoq is going to come with 9 Airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, Rear view parking camera, front and rear parking sensors and Electronic Stability Program.
