2020 Tata Tiago Facelift Detailed Review
Tata launched its Tiago facelift with Altroz on 22 January 2020. Tiago Facelift design is based on the impact 2.0 which is designed and developed by the Tata Motor Group. The first generation Tiago built a strong market hold in the hatchback segment. Its production was started in 2015. The 2nd generation Tiago looks much better than the older model. Front end of the vehicle is almost redesigned. The front end of Second-generation Tiago looks like inspired from Altroz.
The front headlights are slightly angled to downside. Top side of the headlights comes with glossy black finish. Nose grille between the front headlights comes with glossy black finish color and chrome insert that goes to either side of headlights. All these small elements together creates a better road presence. Fog lights comes with chrome inserts around it and fog-light housing also having chrome inserts.
The side panel of the vehicle looks very similar to the first generation and some little changes are made like Orvm comes with Led turn light indicators with piano black finish. The only change done on the rear end of the vehicle is the black panel added to the bumper and the rest of the rear end remains the same.
Now Tiago is powered by only 1.2 Litre 3 cylinder petrol engine which produces 84 Bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 5 speed manual gearbox. Top end variant comes with Automatic gearbox. The dimensions of vehicle are 3765 mm Length, 1677 mm Width, 1535 mm Height, 2400 mm Wheelbase, Ground Clearance is 170 mm ,Kerb Weight is 991 kg, Fuel Tank Capacity is 35 litres and Boot Space of 242 litres.
When you get inside the Tiago Facelift, you will notice new design elements are added like body colored air vents, headliner fabric and soft touch material around the cabin. On the driver side, new sporty steering wheel, new digital instrument cluster and both front seats offer decent amount of head and legroom space.
At the center of the dashboard, you will notice 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman which offer all kind of features like Aux, USB, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple car play, Navigation, connect-next, Voice command and Radio. To offer better sound quality inside the cabin, It comes with 6+ speakers. The chrome insert and piano black finish around the infotainment system, new physical buttons are given below the infotainment system and chrome finish in between each button.
This design element is also used on the AC control buttons. The air conditioning comes with Auto Climate Control feature. The 12 volt charging point, USB and AUX are placed in front of gear stick. All four doors comes with infotainment speakers, bottle holder space and between the front seats cup holder space.
Tata Tiago Facelift comes with safety features like ABS, EBD, 2 Airbags, Corner Stability Control, Rear View Parking Camera and Rear Parking Sensors. The Face-lifted Tiago earned 4 star Safety Rating out of 5 stars in the Global Ncap Crash Test.
