Mahindra Marazzo Mpv Detailed Review
Day by day MPV’s are becoming more popular like mid size SUV’s which offer all kinds of features inside like a full size SUV’s and so do MPV’s offer almost same features like SUV’s. After the long success of Toyota Innova in the market, Mahindra & Mahindra designed its new Mpv Marazzo which is set in the right price range and has all kind of features that comes in the high end MPV’s.
According to Mahindra, the Marazzo design is inspired from shark fish. The vehicle front end looks aggressive, small design elements like front grille and headlamps with projector headlights are taken from the Shark can be easily identified. The Fog-lights on the front bumper comes with LED DRL’s. Black skid plate on the bumper helps to improve the design elements from the front end. It seems that now Mahindra & Mahindra may be going to design their next generation vehicle’s to be inspired from nature.
The Marazzo dimensions are 4585 mm in length, 1866 mm in width, 1774 mm in height and Boot space 190 Litres with all three row’s active and Fuel Tank capacity of 45 Litres. But it is wider and has longer wheel base then Toyota Innova.
The all variants of Marazzo comes with all wheel disc brakes which is quite pleasant feature because it offers better stopping power in any environment and increase confidence of driver on vehicle. From the side profile of vehicle the ORVM’s with Led Turn light indicator, cladding on the doors with chrome insert, chrome line near the windows from front door to rear end and 17 inch alloy wheel with dual tone color finish give nice bold appearance of vehicle. On the rear end the tail lights are inspired from the shark tail which looks unique on the vehicle.
Like the exterior, the interior of the Marazzo is also well designed to provide maximum space for passengers and convey a sense of maturity. The co-driver side dashboard comes with black shiny finish, air vents with chrome inserts, adjustable driver steering column, steering mounted controls on the driver steering wheel and instrument cluster shows all kinds of important information of the vehicle.
At the center of the dashboard 7.0 inch touch screen display is provided which is quite smooth and responsive. It has all kinds of features like Android Auto, Apple Car Play, navigation, Bluetooth, Eco-Sense, Aux and USB. On the cabin roof, the rear AC vents are mounted with required controls and provide better ventilation to the rear rows.
The 2nd row captain seats offer good amount of comfort for the passengers and the seats can be adjusted like co-driver seat. Every door comes with bottle holder space, infotainment Speaker. All four doors comes with white insert, rear doors comes with sun shade, front doors come with umbrella holder. All these features together provide luxury appearance .
Marazzo is powered by the 1.5 Litre 4 cylinder variable-geometry Turbocharged Diesel engine which produce peak power of 122 Bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to 6 speed manual gearbox and company claim’s average of 17.6 Kmpl.
Mahindra Marazzo earned 4 Star Safety rating in Global Ncap crash test and comes with safety features like ABS, EBD, 4 Air bags and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
Mahindra offer 3 year / 1 Lakh kilometer warranty on Marazzo.
