Hyundai i20 Sportz 3rd Generation Review, Specification, Power and Mileage

Everyone knows Hyundai had already launched the new 3rd generation i20 in Indian automobile market with 4 different variants like Magna, Sportz, Asta And Asta optional. But every buyer is not able to Buy the top of the line variant of any car, so most of the time every buyer select the variant which is equipped with all kinds of important features and gives a feel of luxury inside the vehicle.

The Hyundai i20 Sportz is one of those which is most well balanced variant that comes with all kinds of attractive and important features that you want in your car like auto headlamps, digital instrument cluster, touch screen infotainment system, all doors with bottle holder space and infotainment speakers.

The 3rd generation i20 give directly competition to its rivals which are Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Baleno, Honda Jazz, Ford Freestyle and Toyota Glanza.

The front end of Hyundai i20 3rd Generation sports variant comes with similar design elements when compared to the Asta, Asta optional. Like the front end comes with piano black finish air dam grill with Hyundai logo at the center. In front fog lamp housing you will notice Drls and projector fog light are installed. The projector fog lights do provide great visibility while driving at night or in fog. The headlight setup comes with conventional light and turn light indicator.

From the side you will notice that the design of Hyundai i20 is based on the sports hatchback which makes it very much eye catching and steel wheels come fitted with Tire size of 195/60 R16, and at front the stopping power comes from disc brake and on the rear end from drum brakes. The Orvm’s come fitted with electronic controls, Body Colored panel and Led turn light indicator.

On rear end you will notice that the wiper and washer are missing. But the rear tailgate comes fitted with high mounted stop light, defogger and Led Tail lights. The rear bumper comes with rear parking camera, two reverse parking sensor and rear diffuser is installed which give a feel of a sports hatchback. On the Roof you will notice Roof Rails and Shark Fin Antenna.

Hyundai i20 3rd generation know comes with 3 different engine options like 1.0 Liter GDI Turbo petrol, 1.2 Liter petrol and 1.5 Liter Diesel engine. The Gearbox options are 5 speed manual, IMT, IVT and DCT. The 1.0 liter Turbo Petrol engine produces 120 Ps and 172 Nm of Torque. The engine is available in both 6 speed Manual and IMT gearbox and also give mileage of 20.25 Kmpl. The 1.2 Liter 4 Cylinder Petrol engine produce 83 Ps and 115 Nm Torque, engine mated with 5 speed manual gearbox and give mileage of 20 Kmpl.

The Same 1.2 Liter petrol engine produces 88 PS and 115 Nm of Torque the engine is mated to IVT Gearbox and mileage of 19.65 Kmpl. The 1.5 Liters Turbocharged Diesel engine produces 100 PS and 240 Nm of Torque, engine is mated to 6 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed DCT gearbox and give mileage of 25 Kmpl.

When you get inside the Cabin you will notice plenty of luxurious features like touch screen infotainment system, Arm rest at front, Cool Box, 120 watts power point, infotainment system speaker on each door and Bottle Holder space, Rear Ac vents and fast charging option also available in rear with mobile phone holder space.
