All New 2020 Volkswagen T-Roc BS6 Detailed Review

Volkswagen finally launched its T-Roc BS6 Compact Suv in the Indian automobile market. It is going to give tough competition to its rivals which are Hyundai Tucson, Creta, Kia Seltos, Jeep Compass and Tata Harrier. Volkswagen T-Roc is available only in one variant. Volkswagen T-Roc BS6 is based on the Golf platform. Like Intercontinental Golf, T-Roc also looks very stylish and eye-catching design.

The front Bullet style DRL’s are placed on either side of the bumper which creates a complete special identity. Dual projector headlights setup with split DRL in front of the projector. Fog lights are placed near the ground so that you have the best view while driving at night. Volkswagen used a small amount of chrome finish insert on the front end to balance the looks of the vehicle.

From the side view of the vehicle you can easily see the sharp lines and creases on the body that start from the front and go to the rear end. The Cladding is installed around the vehicle, so when you are driving off road your vehicle stay protected and you can enjoy off road driving experience. T-Roc comes with 17 inch Dual Tone Alloy wheels. The All wheel disc brakes increase driver confidence and reduce vehicle stopping distance. The Led turn light indicator are installed on the ORVM’s. The rear end of the vehicle looks as stylish as the front end.

Volkswagen T- Roc is powered by BS6 1.5 Litre 4 Cylinder Variable Geometry Turbocharged TSI EVO petrol engine which produces 148 Bhp of peak power at 5000 Rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 1500 Rpm. The engine is mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox with paddle shifter and engine stop/start function. With this engine T-Roc take just 8.4 sec from 0 to 100 and top speed is 204 Kmph. T-Roc Dimensions are Length is 4342 mm, Width is 1819 mm, Height is 1573 mm, Wheelbase is 2590 mm, Fuel Tank Capacity is 59 litres and Boot capacity of 445 Liters.

When you get inside the cabin, the most noticeable part is the panoramic sunroof, paddle shifter and touch screen infotainment system. Soft touch elements are used on the dashboard and door panels inside the cabin. The fully digital instrument cluster displays all kind of information about the vehicle. It comes with Dual Zone Climate Control, Auto Climate Control, Electronic Parking Brake,12 volt Front Charging Point, Front Arm Rest, Front Cup Holder and Height Adjustable all headrests. The front seats comes with Bucket style and Dual tone color finish. Rear seats do offer decent amount of comfort, support and Armrest with cup holder.

The 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment system comes with features like USB, AUX, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Navigation, Bluetooth, Navigation, iPod Compatibility, CD Player,Voice Command and 6 speaker are installed around the cabin to offer premium sound quality.

Volkswagen T-Roc BS6 is equipped with safety Features like 6 Airbags, ABS, BA, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Control, Traction Control System (TC/TCS), Hill Descent Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Rear Parking Sensors, Rear View Parking Camera, Rear Defogger, Rain-sensing Wipers and Automatic Head Lamps.
