2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 Tourer Bike Launched in India
Around the Globe, mostly people think that Kawasaki only manufacture high performance motorcycle. But few people knows that they also design and sell tourer bikes. In India, Kawasaki has launched most expensive and powerful Tourer Motorcycle Kawasaki Versys 1000 with Bs6 emission Norms standards. The Kawasaki Versys is priced at 10.99 Lakhs which is 10,000 Rs higher when Bs6 variant is compared to Bs4 prices. It is the most expensive sport tourer bike available in Country which offer smooth riding comfort while riding On/Off road.
The Rivals of Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 are Ducati Multistrada 950, BMW F 850 GS and Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
The Versys 1000 design is based on new generation bike which help to make it eye catching. Starting for front end, it comes with Dual LED headlights with dual high low beam, Long wind deflector, Dual 310 mm Front disc brakes with mono-bloc opposed 4-piston caliper which helps to improve stopping power. Tyre size 120/70 mm Z R17 fitted on 17 inch alloy wheel. The Upside Down front suspension travel up to 150 mm and comes with spring preload adjust-ability feature.
The rear end comes with LED Taillights, Tyre size is 180/55 mm Z R17 fitted on 17 inch alloy wheel. At rear, stopping power comes from 250 mm single disc with single caliper. The rear Horizontal Back-link gas-charged with rebound damping and remote spring preload adjust-ability suspensions travel upto 152 mm when ever you ride on off road.
The vehicle information display comes with Digital LCD and analog style Rpm meter. The digital display shows all kinds of important information like Fuel level, Engine Coolant Temperature, Speed, KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) can be Active / Deactivated, Air Temperature, Gear, Trip, riding mode Sport / Eco, Cruise Control speed and Cruise control active/ deactivated and more.
The Kawasaki Versys 1000 is powered by BS6 1043 cc 4 cylinders fuel injected liquid cooled petrol engine which produces 119 Bhp and 102 Nm of Torque. The engine mated to 6 speed manual gearbox. Its dimensions are Length 2270 mm, Width 895 mm, Height 1400 mm, Wheelbase 1520 mm, Ground Clearance 150 mm, Seating Height 840 mm, Fuel tank capacity 21 Liters and Kerb weight 255 Kg.
For the safety, Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 comes with Dual Channel ABS, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), Kill switch and Side stand warring.
It is available in different color option which are Candy Lime Green, Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Stardust White and Metallic Flat Spark.
