The Price of New Taigun Starts from 10.49 Lakhs and goes upto 17.54 Lakhs Ex-Showroom. Currently the new Volkswagen Taigun is Power by Two Different engines and available in 3 different gearbox options.

The Taigun comes with the same compact engine which is also available in both Polo and Vento. The 1.0 Litre 3 cylinder Turbo charged petrol engine produces 114 BHP and 178 NM Torque.  The 1.5 Litre TSi Evo 4 cylinder with ACT technology Turbocharged Petrol engine produces 148 BHP and 250 NM of torque available only in Gt model. The Same 1.5 Liters ACT engine also offered in T-roc with same performance.

The 1.0 Litre engine comes with 6 speed manual claimed mileage is 18 Kmpl  and 6 speed Automatic (with Torque Converter 6 speed, Paddle Shift and Sport Mode) claimed mileage is 16 Kmpl. The 1.5 Litre engine comes with 6 speed manual claimed mileage is 18 Kmpl and 7 speed Automatic ( with Dual Clutch, Paddle Shift and Sport mode) claimed mileage is 17.88 Kmpl.

Starting from the front you will notice that Chrome and piano finished 3D nose grill. Coming to the lower section of the front bumper skid plate which gives it a stance of off-road Capable SUV. On the center of the bumper Chrome and Piano Finish design gives it an attractive and bold look for what Volkswagen known for. The dual chamber headlights come with a Halogen bulb setup, turn light indicator and Led daytime Running Light are also unified in it.
