New 2020 Renault Duster Detailed Review
Renault Duster was launched in 2012 for the first time in Indian market. It was the most attractive compact SUV at that time and a path breaking SUV. Renault always try to put their vehicle in the affordable price around the world and provide best in class quality. Duster is the one of the best compact SUV in Indian automobile market, today’s time still there is a lot more competition in compact SUV market. But Duster is only the most affordable 4×4 compact SUV in this range where some other company’s are trying to provide more stylish compact suv in India. On the other hand Renault only revised styling, a refreshed interior, some more features and even new colors including a vibrant Caspian Blue to stay in the market competition with duster. When it comes to practical day to day life use Duster is the best option to buy today because Renault provide best in class wheelbase, cabin space, comfort, most affordable 4×4 suv & huge 475 liter boot space. The vehicle almost glides over pothole with out any problem.
Engine
Duster available in two engine option petrol and diesel. It’s 1.5 liter petrol engine produce 105 Bhp and 145 Nm of torque. The 1.5 liter diesel engine produce 85 Bhp and 200 Nm of torque. It is also available in same 1.5 liter turbocharged diesel engine but produce more power which is 108 Bhp and 245 Nm of torque. Renault offers 3 different gearbox in duster a 5 speed, 6 speed manual gearbox and cvt automatic gearbox optional. The 110 Bhp engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox and Automatic gearbox and an AWD variant available as optional . The company claim on diesel mileage 19.6 Kmpl and on petrol claim 13.6 Kmpl.
Interior
From Inside Duster comes with updated interior like new rectangular vent instead of the earlier circular vents and body coloured inserts on the dashboard infront of co-driver side dashboard. The 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Aux, Usb and more. The seats are supportive providing nice comfort even for long journey. The cabin height is quite good for 6 ft person and like front row the second row also offer equal legroom space but it feels old when there is no rear AC Vents for the passengers. But there is a special 12 volt power point for charging.
Safety Feature
It comes with safety features like 2 front Airbag, Seat-belt Warning, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) and BA (Brake Assist) as standard in base variant. In higher variant it come with all safety feature like ABS, EBD, BA, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Hold Control. The Four Wheel Drive with Torque On Demand is only available in 4×4 variant only.

Renault offer 2 year / 50000 Kilometer warranty on the duster.
